Membership of the Berowra Bush Runners
The following categories of members
exist (with 2013 annual fees in brackets):
Student / Pensioner ($40)
Individual ($70)
Couple ($100)
Family ($110)
A new member joining on or after 1 July
2013 can pay ½ year fees but is not eligible for the prize of annual
handicap winner. The same applies to an existing member who renews
their membership on or after 1 July 2013 unless the full year’s membership
fee is paid in which case they remain eligible for annual handicap
winner.
In addition, casual membership is
available on handicap races (at a cost of $7 per race). There is
a restriction of a maximum of 2 races which may be paid for as casual
membership. On the 3rd race, full membership will be payable
(amounts already paid for casual membership will be reimbursed when
paying full membership).

Annual membership
covers the handicap races (10 races and Christmas relay), breakfasts
after each handicap, any prizes and trophies, any functions throughout
the year which may be subsidised, as well as insurance. Members
of the Berowra Bushrunners are covered under insurance in the event of
any mishap that may occur in the running of the handicap events.
